- Thank you to the State Historical Society of Iowa for providing Historical Resource Development Program funding to the Iowa genealogical Society.
IGS is using the grand funds to purchase supplies for preserving records pertaining to the Pioneer Certificate program, and for processing and preserving information in our new manuscript collection.
Funding for the Historical Resource Development Program is made possible by an annual appropriation from
the Iowa Legislature to the Resource Enhancement and Protection (REAP) program. The Iowa Department of
Cultural Affairs receives 5% of that appropriation.
2. Thank you to the Iowa Arts Council for providing Emergency Relief funding to the Iowa genealogical Society.
