Special Collections Listings
The Iowa Genealogical Society has many items in its Special Collections holdings.
- Use the FINDING AID to learn about individual collections and their contents
- Use the CONTAINER LIST for more detailed information about each item in the FINDING AID (mentioned above)
- Use the PHOTO LIST for a list of photos within collections.
- Use the SOURCE LIST for sources.
Remember while browsing the list you can use the Ctrl+F to search for a specific name within the title. Also, remember to look at all the pages. There are 50 items to a page.
To view a specific collection, please come to our library and request the collection from the librarian. Be sure to provide the collection's (as listed in the FINDING AID):
- IDENTIFIER NUMBER
- COLLECTION TITLE
